At the start of our journey, we wanted to challenge ourselves, and the industry more widely, to promote service, safety and sustainability. We believe in changing the way our industry approaches sustainability and deals with its hygiene waste. The hygiene waste we collect is never sent to landfill. Instead, it’s recovered and sent to local energy from waste (EfW) plants. Here, it’s turned into a renewable fuel source which is used to power our homes, hospitals, schools and businesses.
